A much needed trip

Last weekend we surprised my mom for Mother's Day.  Since we are both taking spring classes, we decided to leave after class on Friday.  Even though the trip was only four days long, it was worth every minute to see my moms face when we walked in the door.  Just imagine a blood curdling scream, followed by a lot of other emotion.  It was priceless and we loved it.  The weather was great, and Texas was especially green right now.  It was a pretty lax weekend, we cooked dinner a lot, and went out to dinner, did some shopping and went swimming quite a bit.  It was just what we needed, a chill trip with lots of family.   We have been missing my family, and besides the Africa trip in August, we won't be seeing them this summer a whole lot.  It was just what we needed, but the sad part is now, we just miss them and Texas even more.
On other news, Adam takes the biggest test of his Academic career on June 8th, he has been working hard and we are both just excited for it to be over.  He will do great, and after we get the results, (which takes three weeks) then that will determine which law school on East we go to.  It's pretty exciting right now, we have big plans for the summer and time is already flying by so fast.  We are loving every moment together, and can't wait to be fulfilling some life long dreams this summer, we feel so blessed.

Aaron, about 10 minutes before we opened presents, wrote this song.  One of Aaron's talents is to always give us a great surprise.  It was the sweetest song, and we haven't heard him sing in a while, so it was a great treat.

The family comes for a visit

It has been a great week having the family in town.  Brittany and Addison arrived on Tuesday and even though it was a quick trip we still had a lot of fun, except maybe when Addie got sick.  We all felt so bad for her.
Then Hunter and Alina drove out from San Francisco on Wednesday and just left today.  We were all so happy to have the family together. We are trying to soak up time since this time next year we will be leaving for law school somewhere.  We especially miss not having Adam's family around as well and wish we could see them more.  That is it for now, we should have more to post after Mother's Day.

A day out with Addison

Addison is getting so big, she is now 16 months old and she is so fun to hang out with
Hunter had just gotten in from San Fran, and he met us for lunch
Brittany is the cutest mom in the whole world, her and Addie are the best dressed pair

Date night

Saturday night the whole family got together and went to watch Trayce's hypnosis show.  There were 16 of us there to support him, and we had all laughed pretty hard - it was a whole lot of fun.
Before the show, Adam and I wanted to go hit up our new favorite spot in Provo.  We usually avoid Utah county, since we are not fans of many places around there, except BYU, of course.  But it doesn't feel like Provo when we go there.  It feels like a swanky little restaurant, which is why we love it. It was a great weekend all around.

We started our night at our new favorite Lounge area, Spark, down in Provo.
