Trip to paradise

Since Adam's birthday, Valentine's Day, and Presidents' weekend were all around the same time, we headed down to San Diego for four GLORIOUS days. Adam and I dreaded coming back to Utah. It was great to see family and spend some time where I lived for five years. We were in heaven down there, the weather was beautiful and we got to spend time at the beach, in the pool, in the sunshine, and stay at some gorgeous hotels.

Our first day there we went to Coronado with Addison, we had a blast. Even though it got really windy.

She finally braved the castle building. I love her cute face!

Our view from the hotel. Beautiful downtown S.D.

Brittany has a much better view from her place.

Just hanging out Sunday morning at my sister Britt's.

We can't get over their view. We would stare out the window all day long if we lived here.

She cracks me up.

My super skinny sister next to my ever growing belly.

We had her feel the baby, it was really cute, she didn't know what to think.

The Grand Del Mar hotel. This was our view. The hills of San Diego.

Getting checked into our room and realizing that we want to stay a whole week here.

Basketball also goes with us on vacation. Tim Duncan is the greatest power forward of all time.

Valentine's night.

My favorite part was lounging in our new slippers.

Ordered room service, then went out for some dessert. A perfect Valentine's day.

The resort was in the middle of nowhere, which is why we loved it so much.

The pool area. We felt like we were back on our honeymoon in the Caribbean.

The day we left. We soaked up every moment we could.

They had this really cool statue in the middle of resort.

We were suppose to be checking out at this time, but refused to leave.

We will be back to this place. Thank you San Deigo!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ADAM!

Adam's birthday was on Monday the 8th, so we took off work and school and had an all day celebration. It was one of the best birthdays. The day went like this: slept in, made his favorite breakfast, opened presents, went to lunch up at Sundance, some shopping, dinner with friends, then a movie. It was a blast! Happy Birthday babe!

Starting the day off right.
Now a member of the NRA! Adam missed out on the safari convention this year and his dad and brother got him a great present.
Driving up to Sundace. It was beautiful!
Outside our favorite restaurant, The Foundry Grill.
Of course, a brief safari in Africa. (or Cabela's)
