10 Months

My baby is getting SO big and SO fast. Does each child make time go by even quicker? I just can't wrap my head around how old he is getting. Someone at church told me today "Don't you wish you could freeze time? But then how would you ever choose which time to freeze?" She then told me how wonderful each phase is and you don't want to miss any of it. How true it is.  Because I do wish I could stop time and enjoy each phase a little longer, but how I also love each new growth spurt of development and little milestones that make growing up so fun.  I can't say enough about this little man of ours. Here are his 10 month old milestones!
He has the best sense of humor, and he thinks everyone and everything is so funny. Just yesterday he kept laughing at me mopping the floor….silly boy!
He started walking…well everyday he does about 5 steps, and has been doing that for 2 weeks now. So at his relaxed rate, by a year or so we should be walking across the room :)
He has turned in to the biggest chatter box. He loves to say mom, dada, any B sounds, and G sounds. He also loves to click his tongue, and blow raspberries and make elephant sounds.
Solana has officially nick named him Chubby Lumps, haha!! I sometimes call him Bubba and sometimes I would say Chubby Bubba's, so I guess she got Chubby Lumps from that….
He loves to climb, and he is very fast on the stairs.
He loves to be tackle Solana in the morning and he gives the best hugs, and he still loves to be held.
He still takes 2 great naps a day, and finally started sleeping 12 hours at night! So yay to more sleep. Except for a while he was sleeping 8 straight, so I can't complain about that either.
He has 2 moods, super happy and very needy/cranky. But for the most part, he is just a really happy smiling baby.
He loves to clap and he tries to jump, which is pretty hilarious. He will just stand in the middle of the room like he is on a trampoline.  He really expresses his excitement for something by just bouncing up and down.
He is sweet and cuddly and it has been so much fun to hear his cute voice every morning while he talks to himself in his crib waiting for me to come and get him. It's a great thing to wake up to.

This photo is my favorite!

Thanksgiving 2013

More fun firsts this year for Thanksgiving! But we also had some sad lasts, well mainly just one…it was our last Thanksgiving in Williamsburg in our home. We have had it in our home every year since we have been here and love it. Adam usually starts his serious final exam study time the day after, so we have never gone anywhere for this holiday, which is fine with me, because we love holidays in Williamsburg.
This year was especially fun because it was Boston's first Thanksgiving (firsts are always so fun) and for the first time, we had guests over to our place. Adam's family was here for Thanksgiving, inlcuding his Mom and Dad and brother, Aaron, and sister, Sarah, so that was a great treat.  (Olivia is on her mission in Chicago),
Before the feast, Adam played in the ward Turkey Bowl, which he has done every year for a long time.  It is one of his favorite Thanksgiving traditions, and we're curious if or how he'll be able to keep that up in New York City.
The rest of the day was very relaxing and it was fun to hang out inside, especially because it was quite chilly outdoors. We ate lots and had tons of leftovers that lasted for a week, which is my favorite part of course :)
Happy Thanksgiving!!

She was really excited for food…..

She always has so much fun with Uncle Aaron.

Bedtime stories with Grammy and Aunt Sarah.  This girl could read books all night night.
