September in Full Swing

September hit us like a ton of bricks. We were BUSY!!  Boston started school (and speech therapy)  and we quickly got back on schedule with everyone. Adam left for NYC for work, and my mom came to town, and then everyone got sick. So it was busy month, but full of great memories!

Solana wanted me to take a picture of her with all her dolls, so of course she wanted the realest baby doll of all, cute Farrah.

4 months of sweet chubbiness!
She is determined, happy, and loves people. And she is still my easiest baby. Love you Fair bear.

This photo makes me the happiest every time I see it. She is the silliest girl.

1st day of Pre-K. He goes 3 days a week and loves it. He has the best teachers, Ms. Katie, and Ms. Mary Jane, and they are truly angelic with those little 3 year olds.

Hanging out in the ER and discovering sweet Farrah has RSV. She was miserable, yet so happy at the same time. We love you girly.

How we roll these days...

Gigi came to hang with us while Adam was away on business. And it turned out she ended up doing more for us than just hanging out. The kids all got sick and she saved the day (or the weekend I should say) Solana got the stomach flu, Farrah got RSV, and Boston had an ear infection.  We all survived, but I truly could have not done it without my mother here. We love our Grandma Gail.

This sweet middle child has all of my heart. Best boy around. And I loved making forts with him and letting him soak up all his toddlerhood days.

Adam checking out his new office downtown.

They both have their little obsessions....

Ciao girlfriend.

August Highlights: Let School Begin!

August was easy and exciting. End of summer is hard to do, and I hate saying goodbye to my no- schedule free time.  I love the easy days and I love what summer means, but August means back to school and I don't like it one bit.  I really don't my kids getting older, Im excited for them, but its hard to watch each new phase. Solana started 1st grade with Mr. Brown and she loves it so far. She is such great student and we love how much she soaks up each school day.  Ive missed having my biggest helper around though, and I know Boston and Farrah miss her too.  Goodbye summer, see you next year :)

Flying home from a very relaxing trip.

3 months old!

Solana is the photo on top, Farrah on the bottom. Little winners.

1st day of 1st grade and VERY excited about it.

Farrah sure does love when Solana comes home from school.

Friday family movie night!

We make movie night a big deal. We order pizza, make popcorn, get in her pjs, and snuggle while we watch a movie that we all picked out together.  We stay up late and soak up every moment of this special no-interruptions night. We usually do it about once a month and its our favorite every time.  We love simple family traditions.

Photo Shoot at the Resort

Having a photo shoot at the resort where we stayed was so much fun. We loved the experience and we are so grateful we took them up on their offer.

Puerto Rico

Summer was pretty busy this year. We had Farrah in May, then we were blessed with lots of family and friends in town to visit. Then Adam took the Texas bar exam the last week in July. So last minute we decided it was time to get out of Texas and head out to Puerto Rico! We spent 5 glorious days on the beach, in the sun, and soaking up lots of family time.
We loved Dorado Beach and would go back in a heart beat. The beaches were gorgeous, the waterpark was fun, and the restaurants were delicious.  Solana even lost her second tooth while we were on our family bike ride, so we made lots of fun new memories.  It was the perfect getaway and the best part of our summer.
