Clover Springs Camping

On Friday we headed out with Daniel and Brooke to go camping and to do a little Coyote hunting.  We had a great time, got a little cold at night, but it was a great experience all around.  Brooke and Daniel are always fun to be with, so that was the best part of camping.  On Saturday it was beautiful, and it was fun to be out of our environment. We had to head back early because we both had studying to do.  We hope to get back out soon though.

CheyAnn's shoes and socks got soaked clearing snow. It's what she did all night, warm them up.

Packing Up Camp

We represent our mission so well.

Daniel, our brother in-law, was anti pictures, so this is what i finally got. His hair looks great by the way

This was our first trip with the truck tent and we LOVE it!

Dance party in SLC

Saturday started around 6 am when we had to to get up early and drive to Logan for a wedding.  It was a fun drive and we picked up Terra along the way. We barely got there on time when we realized that not even the bride or groom were there at the Temple yet. So we sat and waited with all the guests for over an hour.  Once they got there it moved pretty quickly and the ceremony was beautiful.  After the ceremony it was picture time - we are pretty sure the photographer was David Bowie, but the woman version, and it was kind of freaky.  By the time that it ended we were hungry and cold and really tired.  So we grabbed some lunch and drove home and slept for 2 hours, woke up and left for the reception up in SLC. What we thought would be a typical LDS reception was actually a Techno dance party! We weren't quite sure what to do, so we just joined in and danced the night away with Nathan and his new bride and some mission friends. No one ever busted out the glow sticks, but it was still a very entertaining day and full of surprises.

We danced to music we had never heard of and loved it!

Hammer time to the extreme

We worked for it.  We endured a thronging, uncontrolled mob for will call tickets, a too-long-playing opening act, people in our seats, horrible management, and otherwise terrible-everything venue.  However, it was well worth it to see two of the greatest artists of our time perform the most long-awaited reunion concert ever.  (Okay, maybe there is some overstatement there, but that's how we feel about it.)
Ice brought the rhyme by the gram and Hammer's dance moves were more legit than his pants.  Despite that it was the worst run concert in the developed world, Vanilla Ice and MC Hammer did not disappoint, playing their originals bests to our great enjoyment.
A true-to-the-original Can't Touch This topped of the excitement of the night, from London to the Bay.

The concert took forever to start, so we just took pictures while we waited.
