It was such a treat to have the Prestidges come out in December to visit us. It went by way too fast and the kids soaked up every moment they were here. And it was also nice because Adam surprisingly didn't have to work late or on the weekend. So it was fabulous.
Adam had made an impressive itinerary for all of us so that we could maximize the time they had with us.
And I think they covered most it, which is pretty amazing.
Most of these photos are courtesy of the Prestidges, they rocked at capturing the moments :)
Seeing the Rockefeller Tree and doing a little American Girl shopping!
The tree lighting at Battery Park. And another visit with Santa.
Building a gingerbread house has become an unexpected tradition. But last year we all built one together, and this year Grandma and Grandpa built another one with the kids. They were kind enough to take on this giant experience so we could finally go on a date :)
Smiles and sugar!
Saturday at the Time Warner Center, the closest thing to a suburban mall, for better and worse.
We hung out a lot at Brookfield Plaza, and why not, we love it!
Grammy took Solana ice skating and it was highlight of Solana's time with Grammy. Cynthia was amazing for teaching her and taking her for so long!
On the bus on our way home from church. This picture captures exactly how it was all weekend. Boston right next to Grandpa and Solana sticking by Grammy.
The one group photo right before we parted. Such a great trip and we can't wait to have them again!
