Sister Prestidge is home at last!

Olivia made it home after her incredible and most successful 18 month mission in Chicago! Time went by fast for everyone, but when we finally saw her it felt like it had been such a long time.  Olivia had grown so much - we could see and were well aware of the great change the mission had on her.  I think that is the best part of the mission. The growth that comes through service, through change, and most importantly through love. Olivia was different in the all the wonderful missionary type of ways. It was so fun!! The reunion was highly emotional (as they should be) and it just kept getting better and better from there.  We don't know what this girl has planned next, but it will be great no matter what it is.
Welcome home Sister Prestidge!

Look at that adorable sign holder!

Boston was one cranky tired boy at the airport, but Aunt Sarah was a good buddy to be with :)

My sign turned out pretty good….

The welcome home crew.  (Adam was at work in NYC, but in attendance at the airport via FaceTime on Brad's phone!)

There she is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Awe!! This makes me cry just thinking about the reunion. And it reminded me of course of my own sweet reunion with my mom after my mission. Crying over so much joy is just one the best feelings!

Let the hugging begin….

Adam was skyping during the whole arrival. So he got a phone hug!

Prestidge girls.

Just sitting on the porch at Grammy and Grandpa's house. And they love their new porch chairs!

Olivia said that when Solana goes on a mission, she can have her tag. (I might have teared up with that thought…)

The future Sister Prestidge!!

Glowing with happiness?!  Beaming is more like it.

Beautiful sisters!

We can't thank or tell her enough for how much her mission blessed our family!

Beautiful!!!!!!!!!

Siblings are the best!

Boston was much happier once we got home and he actually had a nap

Adam arrived the next day.  So this the Prestidge-former-missionary-reunion photo.

The kids had a blast with Uncle Aaron. As you can see….

Solana's first professional mani/pedi!

She was so fun to sit next to. We talked the whole time and she would always ask such great questions, like "does it tickle your feet too Mommy?"

All her hard work deserves a manicure!

And all her hard work too :)

Ladies at the drying station.

Solana loved Bunnyville and the mall.

Just taking a little stroll through Grandpa Brad's new facility (which was awesome!) And super Grammy just pushing the double wide….

The other (little) Dr. B. Prestidge! He got pretty comfortable in Grandpa's office.

Fabulous February!

Oh February, we loved you. We actually spent about a week of recovering from our California trip, and the rest of the month we stayed inside and kept warm. It got pretty cold here.

Finally getting to play in Central Park, and they didn't last long, maybe 20 minutes. But it was fun while it lasted.

Crashing hard after snow-play!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Solana's favorite holiday. This does not surprise us because she loves making cards for people and loves to tell everyone how much she loves them. She was pretty excited to have a holiday for this.

Our usual Valentine's Day breakfast…pink waffles made with pureed beets. Yummy!

Boston always falls asleep on our bus ride home from church. But this time with a grumpy scowl. lol

The Hudson River, frozen over for most of February.

Meeting Elsa!

Lots of indoor art projects.

Another crazy frozen snowy day.  I feel like we have endless snowy pictures.

The snow uniform I am so tired of wearing.

A little art time at school.

Definitely a win-win situation. Daddy sleeps while Boston cuddles and plays quietly.

Pineapple painting, our latest project.

Going to the kids food festival.  It was so much fun!

These city kids are adapting quite well. Solana loves it now and I'm sure once it actually warms they will love it even more!
