Preparing for Africa

Last weekend we went shooting with our good friends Matt and Heather.  Adam has been practicing shooting in the house (with "snap-caps"—not real bullets), so we decided to take a real trip outdoors and see if all that practice is paying off.  I finally got to shoot a lot of Adam's guns, and Heather got to shoot a gun for the first time.  We had a blast, minus the billions of baby grasshoppers at our feet.  Adam was happy to know his hard work had paid off, he hit all his targets.  Now those Kudu, Lions, and Elephants will surely be hit hard by Adam. We can't wait to go out again.

Impressive one handed shot
I finally got to shoot the AK47—I loved it!
Adam putting himself to the test with his .375 H&H.  This kind of set up usually goes on in the house, so it was fun to see it to come to life, well almost....
This is the most brown and green you will ever see me in. I just got my Africa clothes delivered and put them all on. I still can't believe I'm going to wear them.
