Ringing in the new year

This New Year's Eve was simply the best by far!  It's actually Adam's favorite holiday, and sadly its nothing that we have really ever celebrated much.  But this year we changed it up.  We decided that since we will most likely always be home for New Year's Eve with little kiddos for a while, why not make the most of it?  So we had a fun family party. We decorated, made a photo "booth" wall, played games, made goals, watched movies, and ate lots of treats! We all made it to midnight (the kids barely) and we loved it.
We are excited about the New Year, I think we were so burnt out from all the changes and big events that happened in 2014, that this year is makes it a little easier to work towards all sorts of goals. Adam and I are big goal setters, and I'm hoping we can keep that going.  The kids were great (but we paid for it the next day) and it was just fun to hang out and wait till midnight.
Cheers to a new family tradition and an incredible new year!

Making personal goals was so fun. Mainly because trying to explain them to Solana was so interesting and entertaining!

Boston got a little obsessed with the camera, all he wanted anyone to do was stand by him and take photos. So cute!

Straw game. Adam won every round and I was so awful at this game, but fun none the less.

They stayed up till midnight, and right after that they crashed!
Happy New Year everyone!
