Our last week in Williamsburg...

The first week of September was the final week before the move. Our house was a war zone and the schedule was packed tight every day.  We tried to keep the stress controlled and the moving exhaustion to a minimum. And for the most part few did pretty good. I feel very grateful that I started downsizing our house and started packing 6 months prior to our move.  We had a long time to plan for it - we knew we were moving to NYC with like, 2 years notice - so, we definitely weren't caught by surprise.
The highlight of the week was the incredible party our dear friends the Stakers threw for us. It was perfect in every way. We have the greatest friends in Williamsburg, and even though it was hard to say goodbye, I know I will see most of them often.  I was bummed that some of the pictures were blurry, but I guess I know what everyone looks like…. but seriously we couldn't have been more blessed to know such incredible families.

Our first piece of furniture we bought when got married. A old coffee table at Deseret Industries. It's been painted lots of colors since then. But Adam's declaration on the bottom has always remained. So we can't really get rid of it, even though we don't use it.  But, it is a nice sturdy table, so that is another reason we've kept it around.  It's currently on loan with Adam's parents, so, we'll have to reunite at some point.

Adam and Solana drove a U-haul down to his parents house. Solana loved riding shotgun!

The fabulous goodbye party!

The ladies of the 'burg.  Look at all those beautiful faces. I love them all!!!

I mean they just don't get any cuter than this.

The view from the moving truck. It was the fastest move in history. Everything was loaded within 20 minutes.  We were so excited to have it done early, and the kids were with grandparents, that we went and caught a movie.

Saying goodbye to our car, the Polar Bear, who stayed in the family with Adam's parents.  Now we have our city legs!

The last shots of the our beloved Williamsburg home.

As much as I disliked our outdated kitchen, I just had to post it for memory sake.

Greatest 3 years of our life. Williamsburg you will be missed, but we will definitely be back to visit!
