April was fun! The sun started to shine, and so did our moods. Adam and I got sick a couple of times, or maybe it just felt like that. But it was so great to finally warm up and get out after a long cold winter. It was a great month and great start to Spring!
This boy never stops going! Except for this one time….so I had to document it. Seriously. He never does this.
We got tickets to a suite at Yankee stadium through Adam's firm. It was freezing, but we had a blast anyway!
The firm's suite!
They play together all day everyday and it's so much fun (and easier on me).
We have a big Italy trip coming up this summer, so we decided to get our cathedral tourism started early. So we headed up to the cathedral of Saint John the Divine. Its the 4th largest christian cathedral in the world. It was incredible! We had a great time visiting and the kids did great as well.
Because sometimes the cupcakes are just that good :)
He is way too young to be a chocoholic, but Boston shoved the whole cupcake in his mouth. It was ridiculous!
Best and cutest laundry helper around.
Adam and I got the flu a couple times, and this was one of the recovery days where we just had to get out of the house, even though we still felt lousy. Credit to 4 year old Solana for taking such a great shot!
The Tribeca Film Festival was so much fun! It was right outside our house on the Esplanade. They showed Lady and the Tramp and we had the kids stay up late for this special "drive-in" movie outside experience.
Solana is getting really good at hula-hooping. She practices at school.
We had so much fun, the weather was perfect and so were the kids. Which we were shocked by!
Hanging out at the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens. It was a warm day, but only about half of the flowers and cherry blossoms had bloomed. But it was still great to go and be in nature :)
1, 2, 3, JUMP!
I love it when strangers take great photos.
Boston ordering himself an ice cream. Chocolate of course...
This was the best part of our time. We sat down on the grass, and before we knew it our kids had wandered over to these foreigners, and sat down with them. Then they busted out their cameras and started clicking away and taking selfies with our kids. They loved them. They were even fixing Boston's hair and making sure Solana's dress was all neat. The kids were having a blast. Haha. Adam and I ran over to grab a photo and join in the fun. I guess they love little American kids.
Please don't ever grow up!
Tea parties after school, pretty much my favorite past time with this girl. She is a party planner.
Pretty much the best way to find your kids: 1) Playing with each other 2) Dressed up in costumes
3) Hiding out in the closet.
This little boy could play soccer all day long!
Boston is obsessed with his cookies. So everyday when we go pick up Solana from school, he holds his plate of cookies the whole way. We get lots of comments along the way...
Solana has yet to see a rainbow in NYC, but Adam saw one outside his office window.
Its nice to know spring is here and we get to enjoy being outside again!
