October

In October we finally we were back into the swing of the schedule. Trips were over and we had adjusted to cooler weather. But October brought on lots of morning sickness during the early stages of my pregnancy, and this time, it was bad. Sickness was all day everyday and I couldn't find relief from anything. I have obviously never been pregnant in NYC, but I think for me it was the worst. All the smells and all the walking made it pretty hard to function outside of my apartment. So October was as low key as I could make it be, and Adam was extremely helpful in taking over mom duties.  So the highlights of this month are not much, but if we got a few moments, then I call it a success!

Boston's favorite past time. Strapping himself in the suitcase and rolling himself around the house. It was pretty hilarious, especially when he tips over forward or backward.

This spot became Adam's favorite personal spot.  It is on the Esplanade overlooking the Hudson River, and Adam would walk along this path each day after taking Solana to school, and would usually stop here for a few minutes to sit and think and breathe before jumping into the craziness of his day.

Some fun birthday action.

We finally told the kids that were about to have another sibling!

One windy, but beautiful Saturday we made the long trek from the bottom tip of Manhattan to the top, to Inwood to see the Cloisters, an incredible art museum made in the 1930s by combining parts of cathedrals in France that were shipped over.  Great call, John D. Rockefeller!

I love this "model" pose he's got going on...

It was so beautiful to be up in Inwood, so many trees!!!!!

Pretty amazing place.  Makes you forget that you're still in the middle of the most populous and dense city in the country.

Adam was lucky enough to be able to accompany Solana on her school's field trip. He had so much fun with her!

A pirate and a race car driver indulging at the church's halloween party.

About to head out and trick or treat the night away. She decided to switch it up and be a mermaid.  Fits her a little better than a pirate.

Happy Halloween 2015!
