Surviving April

April was busy, but we enjoyed almost all of it. It was "go time" with the baby almost here, so we were busy getting the nursery ready, and also ourselves ready. And we decided to take to a last minute trip to see our best friends in Dallas, Matt and Heather, before they moved, and it was great. But then we finished off the month with a horrible case of the stomach flu (think it might have been the Norovirus?), and we all got it one by one and it was horrific. We were like dominoes.  It lasted for over a week. The worse part is that I was terrified I would go into labor. But it was a miracle, because Adam was the last to get it and he was finally over it by Monday, and I went into labor on Wednesday, so I'm glad that worked out. Phew.  But it was pretty ugly there for a while.  So, survived April!

Conference weekend was fun as always. Especially with Solana's treat game.

Boston started soccer and he was thrilled. But it was an emotional struggle each practice and game. He had a hard time grasping the whole "passing the ball" concept.  Lots of tears on the field...

Road trip!

Meeting baby Lydia. And Solana is obsessed with babies.

But she is really obsessed with this little one, Grace.  They are soul sisters!

We headed to the Perot Science Museum and it was amazing! The kids had a blast, its a definite must see in Dallas.  They have a set up where you can race a digital dinosaur, and when the dinosaur approached and roared, the kids all took off running in fear, well ahead of the starting whistle.  It was really cute.

This is basically how the month ended.  Just laying around wherever, feeling sick...  Lots of throw up, lots of naps.  Yay!

I have never seen my kids so sick. Fevers and throw up for days. I pray it doesn't come back for quite some time.
