We returned from Italy just in time for Solana to start kindergarten after a quick 24 hours home to recharge. We were really blessed to have her taken off the waitlist for a super far away school and get in to a much closer school, PS 276, Battery Park Elementary. So this year we only had to walk 7 minutes to school down the calm streets of Battery Park City and the waterfront Esplanade. She was so excited and she absolutely loved her teachers, Mrs. Kim and Mrs. Lisa.

1st day of soccer. She was pretty excited to start, but her enthusiasm was surely lost towards the end. But she had fun and thats all that matters. Downtown Soccer League was awesome, and all of her games were played on a field built on a pier over the river in a beautiful setting. Go Mohicans!
